Temptation
It's very sorely tempting to explain everything that's going on. Not just because of the oblique way I'm telling the story, but also because I don't really trust my art to be very clear. Can you tell he's in a phone booth? Yeah.

This was intended to be a 24-hour comic but my hand hurt too much twelve pages in. And then it turned into a crazy experimental study of the interaction between form and content in the comics medium.

[[Jimothy is in a phone booth. Tsamantha sits in a parked car nearby.]] Jimothy: Of course I can't tell you. ... I'm not being paranoid, it's likely the police ARE listening. Heck, we drove for three hours just to get to this payphone. Jimothy: Do you... um... do you know how my parents are doing? Jimothy: ... my parents. Family. ... Jimothy: ... I can hear YOU just FINE!! Jimothy: Yeah, I didn't think I was missing much. Jimothy: ... Ha! Some vacation! Jimothy: What does our TEACHER care? ... He does, does he? Well did he give you his number? ... Oh. Hang on. I have a pen. Jimothy: It's going REALLY well, considering all we've been through. She's kind of amazing. Jimothy: Her MOM? That's not funny, Thomis. Jimothy: ... Jimothy: I... I can't and won't promise to tell her that, no, because it is NOT FUNNY.
