2006-03-17: Escape Phrase 21
Reflections
I seem to be getting better indexed by the Big Search Engine. Hopefully this will lead to more-relevant uh sponsorship messages. This chapter ends on Friday next. HOLD ON TIGHT.
This comic is in the storyline:
- Escape Phrase
This was intended to be a 24-hour comic but my hand hurt too much twelve pages in. And then it turned into a crazy experimental study of the interaction between form and content in the comics medium.
Text transcript
[[Jimothy and Thomis are leaving class.]] Thomis: WHY haven't I DROPPED this yet? Listening to him teach is like listening to a SLEDGEHAMMER of TERRIBLE. Jimothy: That's... apt. Jimothy: Hey, Tsam! Tsamantha: Hi, Jim! Hello, Thom. Thomis: Ehrrm. See you guys later. Tsamantha: So, how'd it go? Jimothy: Class was fine. Thom... it's like nothing happened. He says he doesn't remember the cops or any of that. Tsamantha: That's unpleasant. Jimothy: You remember, right? What we saw? What they said? Tsamantha: Of course? Do you? Jimothy: I... Jimothy: ... Yeah.
