2005-07-29: Considering an agrarian lifestyle / Horsis!
HORSIS!
Horsis is not a recurring character. I think he is probably someone Space Frog knew back in the old days, in the distant future, in space. (Have you read his origin story?)
I've often thought about the appeal of farming... certainly there's a lot of "grass is greener" going on, what with my interminably urban lifestyle and fundamental middle-class disconnect with the production of the food I consume. Still, I have plenty of (old) books on pig raising and the like... old books, you know, turn of the LAST century. So much for that chestnut.
Rabid is illustrating the epitome of the modern problem with identifying the production of your food.
This comic is in the storyline:
- Old Comics
The site started with "cleaned up" comics from my old sketchbooks, which go back almost fifteen years. Eventually I ran out and had to come up with new things! That was a terrifying moment.
