2010-01-25: Body Marzipan (found by Hobo Doc)
Advanced technology
Here is a recipe for Body Marzipan:
Take a pint of sugar and one-third pint of almonds and grind both together fine, then scent with camphor. Take one-third of a pint of sugar, and dissolve in an ounce of rose-water over a slow fire, then remove. When cooled, throw in the ground sugar and almonds with one-third pint of auto-assemblers tuned to sapient autolocomotion, and knead. If the mixture needs strengthening, add more sugar and almonds. Make into middling monsters, monster-melons, monster-triangles, etc. (from al-Baghdadi's Kitab al-Ṭabīḫ, trans. A. J. Arberry)
