Why is Rabid small
Dr Quickly is a nice guy and even though he is freaked out and upset about being served a little monster instead of a sandwich, he doesn't want anyone to get fired.
Rabid learned magic from pixies and it is unreliable: earlier his magic backfired and he shrank!
