Dr Quickly befriended a bat and trained it to fly about at his command. The spooky castle is supposed to be casting a spooky shadow.

Noel: Here's your lunch, prisoner. Noel: EEK! << CLONK >> Rabid: You! I should call the cops! Dr Quickly: Please! Hear me out! Rabid: Well sure we know about the plant monsters... Dr Quickly: Noel. Rabid: She's one of them after all?! Dr Quickly: She's their LEADER. Rabish: What's HE doing here? Dr Quickly: This way! Rabish: I still don't think we should trust him. Rabid: Yeah. Dr Quickly: Their HAUNTED BASE Rabid: Are you sure this disguise will work? Dr Quickly: Eh.
