The gang
Turns out I had plenty of reference material for this comic sitting around the house. Something about those weird old flat and awkward Archie comics really resonates with me.
I still wonder if I invented the one where Betty is driving herself to tears thinking she'll have to Go All The Way with Archie to keep him going out with her, thinking he expects it of her, and reading all his actions as sack-jumping starting points. That one was bizarre.
