So the influenza virus is between 80 and 120 nanometres, which is about the width of extreme ultraviolet light. Hard to tell what colour it would be. My guess is that it would diffract light in some way, maybe even in a pretty rainbow.
Rabid won't be so happy with that gift when he sees what it does to his electricity bill!
