The site started with "cleaned up" comics from my old sketchbooks, which go back almost fifteen years. Eventually I ran out and had to come up with new things! That was a terrifying moment.

Dr Quickly: You think I'm so cerebrally-minded as to be unable to conjure an aesthetic appreciation or recognize th'same in others? Pfaugh! But -- what is pleasure? So transitory, and so particularily that in music! ... what is it without an intellectualization of the context? A crystal! It could be -- hard! Beautiful! UNBREAKABLE! Dr Quickly: With intellect, the pleasure remains indefinitely even as the medium and memory fade! <<SNATCH!!>> Rabish: HEY! Dr Quickly: If you had truly KNOWN the work instead of just messily SOAKING in it, it would yet remain in your head and heart!! <<CRACK!!>> Rabish: BUT I JUST GOT IT!! Rabid: You just broke a new record, Doc. Rabid: Come on, we'll go download it. Dr Quickly: You're missing the point and ANYWAY I'M STILL RIGHT!!
