2008-08-11: Euro (castle)
Drawing
So today I used an actual brush, not a brush marker. It's easier! And shrinking it down made a lot of the things I hated about the art go away.
Hey! Use the contribution system to give me more ideas for comics! Also, I spent the weekend adding copyright notices to the old comics. Oh man.
This comic is in the storyline:
- Variations
A long-running series, maybe the crux of the site. Reader submits a suggestion, and I draw three comics based on that suggestion. Originally all three had to start the same, but it evolved.
This comic includes the contribution:
- William Howard Taft suggested: A four and a half euro contribution to his well-being fails to make Rabid happy.
Text transcript
Rabid: Four and a half euros? That's all I got?! Rabid: That fundraiser cost like sixteen thousand... How will I afford wings to fly to the floating castle?! Dr Quickly: This thing might work, but you should know I don't know of anyone coming back from there. Rabid: RABISH does. Rabish: You fake! Here's your crummy ring!! <<TOSS!>> Husband: Baby please! I didn't mean to hurt you with my lies!! Castle Monster: Once you enter, you can never leave. Rabid: Oh, fine, whatever. Noel: My umbrellas will protect you from boneshowers! Rabot: The castle flies low over the city today, it's bound to rain bones.
