As an example of the piecemeal way I put this together, when Dr Quickly saw his true self in the reflection I had no idea that would be relevant in the sixth panel here.

Dr Quickly: That was an unexpected expectoration... Hopefully this planet has what I need to make the repairs to my spaceship. Dr Quickly: Just what I needed to make the repairs to my spaceship! FXRGLTRT: YOUR MONEY IS WORTHLESS ON THIS PLANET Dr Quickly: So how can I pay for my sundae? FXRGLTRT: ... IT'S ON THE HOUSE, INTERSTELLAR TRAVELLER. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
