2007-11-05: 24 Hour Comic: The Space Crystal Page 1
Twenty Four Hours
Thus begins my 24 hour comic called "The Space Crystal". I used drafting pens and brushed ink. And it only took me 20 hours! I fell asleep a bit while drawing, sometimes, but that doesn't happen until much later. Enjoy!
A note about the story: I totally had no idea what I was doing, I didn't have any idea more than "Rabid is waiting at home for a package". A lot of time I would have pencilled and inked everything but the last panel in the hopes I'd have thought of the Next Thing To Happen.
For Official Use Only: This comic was completed in the span of 20 hours using only pre-printed non-photo blue six-panel grids with no prior planning starting at 1pm on 24 October 2007
This comic is in the storyline:
- The Space Crystal
A 24 hour comic. Which, you should know, only took me 20 hours. How about that?!
Text transcript
Rabid: Where's my package? I'm at HOME on the PORCH ALL DAY!! Rabid: ZZZZ Noel: Look, here's your package. Right on time, almost nearly. I would have been more prompt but I have a lot of trouble driving while balancing packages. Noel: WHAT, NO TIP?! <<SLAM>> Noel: Pff, well, serves him right, then, that I gave him the wrong package. Rabid: This is very much not what I ordered.
